I'm a statistician at the United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), where I help countries across the region develop environmental and disaster-related statistics.
I hold a master's degree in public policy and dual bachelor's degrees in statistics and mathematics. I've worked across environmental, economic, and social statistics, with a focus on building data workflows and statistical models in R.
I'm currently expanding into Python and exploring how AI can enhance statistical work, and this site exists partly as accountability for that learning journey.
When I'm not wrangling environmental data, I'm improving my Spanish, learning to surf along the Chilean coast, or planning my next bikepacking adventure.
